Join me for a full-day in-person class where weβll dive into the world of Bronson Lace on the rigid heddle loom. This is a technique-focused workshop β no project pressure! Youβll explore how Bronson Lace works and begin to design your own beautiful lace patterns.
We'll cover:
π§΅ How to insert and use multiple pick-up sticks without re-inserting
π§΅ How to create and combine warp and weft floats
π§΅ How Bronson Lace is structured and how to build your own variations
β A warped rigid heddle loom with the yarn of your choice (minimum 12" in the reed is recommended)
β Yarn for weft
β All your pick-up sticks (some designs may use up to 7!)
β Multiple shuttles
β Usual weaving supplies:
β’ S-hooks
β’ Tape measure
β’ Pen
β’ T-pins
β’ Scissors
β’ Darning needle
β A loom stand is recommended but not required
