Join me for a full-day in-person class where we’ll dive into the world of Bronson Lace on the rigid heddle loom. This is a technique-focused workshop — no project pressure! You’ll explore how Bronson Lace works and begin to design your own beautiful lace patterns.
We'll cover:
🧵 How to insert and use multiple pick-up sticks without re-inserting
🧵 How to create and combine warp and weft floats
🧵 How Bronson Lace is structured and how to build your own variations
✔ A warped rigid heddle loom with the yarn of your choice (minimum 12" in the reed is recommended)
✔ Yarn for weft
✔ All your pick-up sticks (some designs may use up to 7!)
✔ Multiple shuttles
✔ Usual weaving supplies:
• S-hooks
• Tape measure
• Pen
• T-pins
• Scissors
• Darning needle
✔ A loom stand is recommended but not required
