The Rogue Weaver's Guide to Fixing Mistakes - Zoom Class November 14
📅 November 14
⏰ Time: 2:00 – 5:00 PM AST (Halifax)
💻 Location: Live on Zoom
🧶 Skill level: Suitable for newer and experienced rigid heddle weavers
🎥 Recording: Available for 30 days
👥 Minimum class size: 3 students (maximum 10)
We all make weaving mistakes…we warp our looms backwards, forget to go around the back warping stick, have bad tension or take the project off the loom and discover floats we missed. It’s all part of the process.
The best news is that there are hardly any mistakes that can’t be fixed, either while we are warping, weaving or even after wet finishing! And that is what this class is all about.
In this three-hour Zoom class, we’ll look at common mistakes that happen during warping, winding on, threading and weaving, and talk about the easiest, quickest way to deal with them. Sometimes the solution may look a little…unusual, but if it works and makes your life easier, that’s what matters.
I want to take the stress out of making mistakes - mistakes are learning opportunities. So bring your “opportunities” and together, we will explore solutions.
My hope is that you will leave with the skills to tackle your next mistake with confidence!
