Bumberet Inspired Tea Towels Rigid Heddle Weaving Pattern

CA$10.99

Traditionally Bumberet Towels are woven on a 4 shaft loom and are threaded in groups of three. These towels have brought bumberet to rigid heddle weavers! Colour, threading and the use of a pick-up stick create a richly textured and eye catching towel reminiscent of a traditional bumberet towel. The pattern includes the colours for 3 options as well as a brief section outlining extra weaving options!

This is a fabulous stash buster project!

This pattern requires a 24” rigid heddle, a 10 dent reed, 3 shuttles, and a pick-up stick. It uses 8/2 cotton and is an easy pattern to adapt to any size loom.

Skill Level: The pattern is a simple repeat but does requires extra patience to warp.

Pattern contains video and blog links to help you succeed.

Pattern makes 2 towels measuring approximately 19” x 30”
