Swedish Lace Scarf Pattern for the Rigid Heddle

CA$8.99

Yes, you can make this scarf on a Rigid Heddle! This is a delicate Swedish lace pattern that is perfect for so many projects! This Scarf uses Sabri yarn by Illimani, a blend of cotton and alpaca. It makes for a light scarf with the softness of alpaca and the breathability of cotton.

Pattern requires a 20” minimum rigid heddle loom, 2 pick-up sticks, 1 shuttle and all the usual weaving paraphernalia. Alternatively, you may use string heddles for 1 or both of the pickup sticks.

Skill Level: Intermediate, this pattern has a 2-block repeated pattern. It uses 2 pick-up sticks, one stays inserted, and the other is inserted as it is needed.

Makes 1 scarf measuring about 16 1/4” x 72” (plus fringe)

While this pattern is designed for the rigid heddle weaver, it does contain the draft for a 4-shaft loom. (Thank you @stitchenscraps)
