Let it Snow Rigid Heddle Tea Towel Pattern

CA$8.99

Weave up these fluffy, snowflake inspired tea towels using your rigid heddle loom, a pick-up stick and string heddles!

This pattern is not a beginner pattern, however it is a great way to learn how to add string heddles to your weaving repertoire. If you have experience with pick-up sticks and using two shuttles you are ready for this pattern. I’ve included pictures, written instructions, videos and blog links to help you succeed.

Pattern requires a 24” loom, a 10 dent reed, 3 pick-up sticks, string heddles (I show you how to make them) and all the usual weaving paraphernalia. These towels are woven with cotton slub for fluffy flakes, however they would look lovely with regular 8/2, 8/4 cotton or cotolin. Size can also be adapted for a smaller loom.

Makes 2 towels about 18x26”
