Flyss and Lace Rigid Heddle Weaving Pattern

CA$8.99

Flyss, a luxurious blend of linen and silk by Handmaiden Yarns, makes a shawl with incredible drape.

A mix of plain weave and spot lace keeps the weaving interesting and creates a lovely texture to the finished fabric. And, it is as lovely on the right side as the wrong side!

For a cotton based version, try Sabri 1 by Illimani.

This pattern requires a minimum 20” rigid heddle, a 10 dent reed, 1 shuttle and 2 pick up sticks as well as all the usual weaving paraphernalia.

Suitable for Intermediate to Advanced weavers. This pattern has 2 distinct pick up patterns, each using 2 pick up sticks. There is a lot to pay attention to, but once you get the rhythm, it becomes easier.

Pattern contains video links to help with the pick up and weaving patterns.

Finished dimensions: 15 ¼” x 65” plus fringe

Pattern requires 2 skeins Flyss by Handmaiden OR 2 skeins Sabri by Illimani
