Brown Paper Packages (tied up with string) Tea Towel Pattern

CA$8.99

Tea towels are some of my favourite things to weave. They have so many uses…table runners, food covers, basket liners, wrapping material, bathroom hand towels, hostess gifts, and of course, since they are so washable, cleaning up messes! When I spill in the kitchen I run for the Tee Towel drawer over the paper towel roll!

This set of towels is designed with the beginner in mind. The pattern expects you are familiar with warping your loom but does contain lots of videos to help you through the process. The pattern contains very detailed warping instructions with check boxes. There are more check boxes for the weaving. Instructions are given for fixing floats after the work is off the loom, as well as tips for reducing bulk at the colour changes, spreading the warp and hemming.

Pattern requires a 24” rigid heddle loom and a 12 or 12.5 dent reed. Instructions are given for reducing the width for a 20” or the option to use a 10 dent reed.

Makes 2 towels about 18” x 26”
